Northerly's Happy Ending

This is Northerly and this is Northerly's story...

I found Northerly on the way home from work (6/4/09) running across North Ave almost getting hit by a car. I ran after her. She went into a pair of bushes in the Walgreen's parking lot. I sat with her, petted her, and made sure she didn't go anywhere. I kindly asked a kid walking by if I gave him $ if he would go in the store and buy a can of canned cat food for me. He obliged. I placed the food in the bushes so she was hidden away, this is right next to not only a ridiculous busy street but a popular bus stop also. So I ran home in my heels with my laptop in tow to get a trap. Since she was friendly, I decided to scruff her and gently place her in the trap. She was spayed and given her shots, microchipped, dewormed, etc on Friday, June 5. Unfortunately, Northerly was pregnant at the time of her trapping so I had her aborted. As you can see, if we didn't trap there would have been even more kittens/cats on the street. Northerly is so sweet and loves to be petted and give and receive love. As you can see from these pictures she is very happy. She was admitted to the No kill shelter Tree House Humane Society and is currently up for adoption awaiting to find herself a forever home. Could it be with you?
